I remember when i was around 12 yrs old helping dad paint houses, so i decided from a young age i would become a painter as well.

A lady never touch the external of her double story house for 28 yrs, all her timber fascia needed replacing by a builder and she ask why and i replied that she should of painted years ago & saved herself a lot of money

I like nothing better then to finish our painting jobs and seeing the attention to detail and the expression on the clients face 'SMILING' and to go home each night knowing we wont get called back for inferior painting defects

Are they trade qualified and licensed, how long have they been in business over 10 years is GREAT, are they using Dulux professional paints, Ask the person who quotes the job are they painting the job or subbie the project out to a cheaper non professional persons for a quick buck..BE CAREFUL as i hear stories of so many people getting caught out.

the most common question is each person wants the best tradesman for the right money, they find it difficult to pick the right painter for there job, they always ask questions about ARE YOU GOOD AT YOUR JOB and a lot of customers ask for cheap prices, i reply that we don't offer below standard finishes and always do the job 100%, at the end of the day all painters are different, you may want a a cheap job or invest in a professional painter with a lot of knowledge and skills which at the end of the day costs more but you get a way better finish with lasting results

Before we can give you the best overall painting quote, we need to know if you are selling your home or staying there, send us photos of your job if you prefer (busy etc), what condition the property is in and lastly we would need to come out to inspect if you would like to go ahead.

tip 1 - never pay up front, always pay on completion when, YOU are 100% satisfied tip 2 - ask for a less expensive line of paint, Dulux has 3 different lines tip 3 - give us the job and you wont need to repaint again over someone elses defects, it will cost you more in the end if you choose the wrong painting company

What makes your pricing competitive?

Accepted Answer

Our pricing depends on the project at hand and what paints and equipment are used spray gun, airless spray gun, brush finish, scaffold, boom hire etc. We are very competitive to some extent but won't go in to cheap where quality should be the main priority, if you go in to cheap it just ends in a disaster for both the client and the painter.

How do you normally charge for your service?

I personally come out free of charge to go over all your details about the painting project, I'm known for my honest answers to any questions you may ask,for example if you wanted a full internal repaint and I thought your ceilings didn't require repainting, then I would discuss with you they don't and save you unnecessary works and money.
