We take our all relevant insurances required by law to give full protection to our clients.    We give our clients a full 5 year guarantee on our workmanship, which is required by law.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

My husband has been running a painting business in Korea for over 10 years and thought that when we moved to Australia he should continue to use his skills in painting which he is a master at.  We have been running the business successfully for a few years now and we have no regret in choosing to paint in Australia

We like adding our touch to buildings to reflect its true character and to make it more beautiful than it was before.    And at the end of a job we like getting smiles from satisfied clients after we have finished our painting.

1. Do they have relevant licence and insurance so that the client is fully protected.   2. Whether the person has relevant experience.  3. Whether they have any recommendations or referral letters.

We believe that trust is most important part of our service and we do everything to build that trust.  We are always on time, and we always perform what we promise to our clients and because of this we have been able to grow and get referrals.

Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

My husband is the painter and I am the manager in the business.  I ensure that everything is taken care of so that my husband only focuses on painting to the satisfaction of the client and I double check the finish before I take it to the client.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

We would need to know the type and state of building, the type of finish and whether oil-based or water-based paint was used so we can determine exactly what works are involved.   If the client is able to provide us with the above information, we can give you an accurate quote over the phone or email.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

1. Make the room as bare as possible. This will make the job easier for a painter and he will charge you less.  2. Use less colours.  The more colours you have for the house the more its going to cost.   3. Ask the painter what you can do to save money.  After all, it depends on the job and the what the client can do.

What makes your pricing competitive?

Our pricing is competitive because we always have highly experienced painters on-site and only use quality materials.  By using high quality materials you can save hundreds of dollars in labour and also have immaculate finish on top.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Our quotation consists of two parts: labour and materials.   We have a daily labour rate of $300.00 (for normal painting)  per person and we estimate how long a job would take when we give out our quotation.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

We specialise in re-painting residential buildings, especially houses and units.   My husband is also an experienced texture painter who can create special effects like render, sandy look and colour mottled appearance.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

Although my husband was in the painting industry in Korea for 10 years, in order to hone his skills to Australian needs, he re-trained at Granville TAFE which not only gave him a diploma but allowed him to get painting and decorating licence.     He now fully qualified Australian painter who has the experience and skills to provide a great service.
