How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I started a painting apprenticeship once I left school after year 11. Three years latter I started A.J.Blunt painting Contractors Pty. Ltd. and have built the business from a one man painting  team to company with 20 employees and an impressive private and commercial client list.

We renovated Government house many years ago. This was a very large job with lots of negotiation between the staff and events. Many interesting stories but we are not allowed to tell, sworn too secrecy. We have also worked of Ayres House on North terrace.

The most rewarding part of painting clients homes is starting with a dated or damaged looking home and turning it back in to a beautiful up to date freshly painted home, very rewarding to see the finished product we produce.

Our clients often ask when can the job be done and if we will stay on site until the job is completed. We can start work usually with in one week of acceptance and we stay on site until all work has been completed to you satisfaction.

We always like to make a time to come out and inspect the work to be carried out and to discuss the scope and colours if necessary. Most work will need a site inspection to give a accurate quote.
